ways to work with tribu
injury rehab
Move with confidence. Heal with intention.
Whether you're rehabbing an injury, moving through persistent aches, or wanting to lift and run without pain, my 1:1 physical therapy sessions offer a clear plan forward. I blend evidence-informed treatment with intuitive coaching so you can understand why something hurts and what to do next.
Located inside Ascent Fitness in Tacoma, WA, these sessions meet you exactly where you are—no judgment, no rushed appointments, just focused care that helps you rebuild strength, mobility, and trust in your body.
Resilient runner membership
Build the strong, durable runner within you before you get injured. The Resilient Runner Membership blends individualized performance physical therapy, running-specific strength, and ongoing guidance to keep you training consistently—not cycling through injuries.
You’ll get customized strength programming, gait and movement assessments, hands-on support when needed, and a PT who gets it. Perfect for runners who want to stay injury-free, level up their performance, and feel confident through every training block.
race recovery & wellness services
Recovery is where your training adaptations actually happen. These sessions combine lymphatic drainage with targeted recovery tools—cupping, mobility, stretching, soft tissue work, and red light therapy—to support healing, decrease inflammation, and improve movement quality.
Whether you’re mid-training cycle or managing daily stress, these sessions help your body bounce back stronger.
Make sure I’m the right fit! I’ll ask you about your goals, expectations, and the nature of your injury or specific needs to make sure you get started on the best track.
My priority is getting your needs met in the best and most efficient way - sometimes that’s with me and sometimes that might be a different provider within our amazing community.
The name Tribu (pronounced tree-boo), meaning tribe in tagalog, is a nod to my Filipino heritage and the community spirit our culture encompasses. My mother, who immigrated from the Philippines, taught me the strength that comes with supporting each other, lifting one another up, and welcoming new faces with open arms.
This is the spirit that Tribu is built upon.

Client Testimonials
“As a 50-something active woman, I have been able to stay active with help from Dr. Mary. She has treated me for a variety of physical conditions including helping me get and stay mobile after shoulder surgery. Her lymphatic work has made a world of difference for my quality of life. I leave treatment feeling better every time and have been able to incorporate what she has taught me in order to stay active and mobile. I highly recommend Dr. Mary!”

“Mary is a joy to work with. For me, I really appreciated how accessible she was when I had questions about certain exercises that I took home. She also helped me integrate preventative exercises into my long-term exercise program. I definitely feel confident with my recovery in her care.”
— M.M.
“I am a life long athlete nearing 60, who has endured several knee surgeries. With assistance from Dr. Mary I have been able to maintain an active life. The blood flow restriction training was the best leg workout I have ever done. I am now able to hike without a knee brace. Two thumbs up for Dr. Mary!”
